Conocimiento y actitudes sobre enfermedades respiratorias en madres de niños menores de 5 años del distrito de Sapallanga Junín 2025

Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre conocimiento y actitudes sobre enfermedades respiratorias en madres de niños menores de 5 años del distrito de Sapallanga Junín 2025. El método fue de tipo básico con un diseño no experimental, correlacional-transversal. La muestra fue de 92 madres con niños menores de 5 años seleccionados mediante un muestreo probabilístico simple, a partir de una población de 120 madres. Los resultados indicaron que el nivel de conocimiento fue alto con el 62% sobre enfermedades respiratorias en madres de niños menores de 5 años y las actitudes fueron adecuadas con el 91,3%. En conclusión, existe la relación entre conocimiento y actitudes sobre enfermedades respiratorias en madres de niños menores de 5 años del distrito de Sapallanga Junín 2025, (Rho: -0,236 p valor 0,024 < 0,05).

The study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes about respiratory diseases in mothers of children under 5 years of age in the district of Sapallanga Junín 2025. The method was basic with a non-experimental, correlational-cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 92 mothers with children under 5 years of age selected by simple probability sampling from a population of 120 mothers. The results indicated that the level of knowledge was high, with 62% of mothers of children under 5 years of age having knowledge about respiratory diseases, and attitudes were adequate, with 91.3%. In conclusion, there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes about respiratory diseases in mothers of children under 5 years of age in the district of Sapallanga Junín 2025 (Rho: -0.236 p value 0.024 < 0.05).
