Abstract
El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores asociados y el nivel de conocimiento sobre automedicación en pacientes del Centro de Salud Carlos Cueto Fernandini, Los Olivos, durante julio y agosto de 2025. Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo con una muestra de 183 pacientes adultos. Los resultados mostraron un nivel de conocimiento medio (36,6%), alto (35,5%) y bajo (27,9%), encontrándose asociación significativa con la edad, el género y el grado de instrucción. Se concluyó que la edad y el grado de instrucción fueron los principales factores asociados al conocimiento sobre automedicación, resaltando la importancia de fortalecer la educación sanitaria.
The study aimed to determine the associated factors and the level of knowledge regarding self-medication among patients at the Carlos Cueto Fernandini Health Center in Los Olivos during July and August 2025. A quantitative study was conducted with a sample of 183 adult patients. The results showed moderate (36.6%), high (35.5%), and low (27.9%) levels of knowledge, with significant associations found regarding age, gender, and educational level. It was concluded that age and educational level were the primary factors associated with knowledge of self-medication, highlighting the importance of strengthening health education.
