Abstract
El objetivo es describir los factores asociados a la automedicación con antibióticos en los pobladores del distrito de Pichanaqui, en el año 2022. Como método, se utilizó un diseño de estudio de tipo observacional, descriptivo, de corte transversal. Se aplicó el muestreo mediante la fórmula, muestra de población finita, aplicada la fórmula se determinó 242 pobladores del distrito de Pichanaqui, de 20 a 64 años de edad. La técnica empleada fue la encuesta personal, que se llevó a cabo mediante un cuestionario con 17 preguntas. En conclusión, se encontraron altos índices de prevalencias de la automedicación en los pobladores del distrito de Pichanaqui, en el año 2022 es elevado llegando a un 97.5% mientras que solamente el 2.5% de los pobladores no se automedica.
The objective is to describe the factors associated with self-medication with antibiotics in the inhabitants of the district of Pichanaqui, in the year 2022. As a method, an observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study design was used. Sampling was applied using the formula, finite population sample, and the formula was applied to determine 242 inhabitants of the district of Pichanaqui, aged 20 to 64 years old. The technique used was the personal survey, which was carried out by means of a questionnaire with 17 questions. In conclusion, the prevalence of self-medication in the inhabitants of the district of Pichanaqui was found to be high, reaching 97.5% in 2022, while only 2.5% of the inhabitants do not self-medicate.
