Abstract
El objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar el nivel de conocimiento de prácticas de eliminación de medicamentos vencidos y el impacto ambiental en hogares del distrito de San Miguel – Puno, 2022. Se utilizó una metodología con estudio cuantitativo y deductivo, descriptiva y observacional con un nivel causal explicativo, el diseño es transversal, la muestra fue de 376 hogares. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que en los hogares del distrito de San Miguel, la eliminación de medicamentos vencidos la realizan mediante tachos de basura (41.8%), mediante el drenaje sanitario (41.2%), en los recolectores municipales (43.9%) y mediante el recojo por la autoridad sanitaria (47.6%). En cuanto a la educación y concientización sanitaria, el 51.9% recibieron capacitación, el 37.5% cree que causa modificaciones ambientales temporales y reversibles con el mismo porcentaje y el 45.2% creen que causan modificaciones reversibles.
The objective of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of practices for the disposal of expired medicines and the environmental impact in households in the district of San Miguel - Puno, 2022. A quantitative and deductive, descriptive and observational methodology was used with an explanatory causal level, the design is transversal, the sample was 376 households. The results obtained show that households in the district of San Miguel dispose of expired medicines in garbage garbage cans (41.8%), through sanitary sewers (41.2%), in municipal waste collectors (43.9%) and through collection by the health authority (47.6%). Regarding sanitary education and awareness, 51.9% received training, 37.5% believe that it causes temporary and reversible environmental modifications with the same percentage and 45.2% believe that it causes reversible modifications.
