Abstract
El propósito fue determinar la relación entre el impacto psicológico de la estética dental y a la autoestima en adolescentes y niños atendidos en dos clínicas odontológicas privadas en Lima y Huancayo, 2022. El tipo de investigación fue correlacional, descriptivo y transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 200 adolescentes y niños. Nuestros resultados reportan que el 47% tienen impacto psicológico regular; el 60% presentan regular autoestima, el 21% son varones y presentan impacto psicológico bajo acerca la estética dental, el 17% tienen 12 a 14 años y presentan impacto psicológico bajo. En conclusión, existe relación entre el impacto psicológico de la estética dental y la autoestima en adolescentes y niños atendidos en dos clínicas odontológicas privadas en Lima y Huancayo, 2022.
