Abstract
El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar cuál es la profundidad de polimerización de dos cementos de resina fotopolimerizables interponiendo discos de zirconia translúcida de diferentes espesores. La metodología de la investigación es de tipo experimental aplicada, transversal, prospectiva y según el nivel, explicativo. Los resultados muestran que la profundidad de polimerización para Allcem Veneer (FGM) presentaron promedios de 2.98mm, 2.85mm, 2.58 mm y 2.30 mm, para los espesores de zirconia de 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 y 2.0mm respectivamente. Mientras que para Rely X Veneer (3M ESPE), los promedios fueron de 2.85mm, 2.75mm, 2.56 mm y 2.35mm. La conclusión principal fue que no existen diferencias estadísticamente significativas (p< 0,05) entre los grupos de experimentación.
The objective of this research was to determine the depth of polymerization of two light-curing resin cements by interposing translucent zirconia discs of different thicknesses. The methodology of the research is applied experimental, cross-sectional, prospective and, according to the level, explanatory. The results show that the depth of polymerization for Allcem Veneer (FGM) presented averages of 2.98 mm, 2.85 mm, 2.58 mm and 2.30 mm, for zirconia thicknesses of 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 mm respectively.
