Abstract
Este trabajo, tuvo como Objetivo: Determinar la actividad antibacteriana del aceite esencial de Eucalyptus globulus (Eucalipto) sobre Staphylococcus aureus. Metodología: fue aplicada, de corte transversal, prospectiva y diseño experimental, en una muestra de 5kg. De hojas verdes de eucaliptus globulus
Resultados: Los valores promedio de los halos de inhibición obtenidos por el aceite de eucalipto al 100% frente a Staphylococcus aureus fue de 16,94 + 0,39mm y al 50% fue de 13,06 + 0,37mm, el control negativo obtuvo halo de inhibición de 5,97 + 0,19mm y el control positivo de 24,94 + 0,22mm. Conclusión: El aceite de Eucalyptus globulus (Eucalipto) al 100% y 50% presentó actividad antibacteriana frente a Staphylococcus aureus
The objective of this work was to determine the antibacterial activity of the essential oil of Eucalyptus globulus (Eucalyptus) on Staphylococcus aureus. Methodology: it was applied, of cross-sectional, prospective and experimental design, in a sample of 5kg. of green leaves of eucalyptus globulus. Results: The average values of the inhibition halos obtained by eucalyptus oil at 100% against Staphylococcus aureus was 16.94 + 0.39mm and at 50% was 13.06 + 0.37mm, the negative control obtained an inhibition halo of 5.97 + 0.19mm and the positive control 24.94 + 0.22mm.
