Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación es caracterizar el consumo de bebidas energizantes en los estudiantes del 4o y 5o de secundaria de la Institución Educativa José Carlos Mariátegui – Huancayo, 2023. La metodología que se utilizó, es de diseño descriptivo no experimental de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 240 estudiantes. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el (97,1 %) de estudiante consume BE, (48,5 %) tiene una edad de consumo de 16 años y el (52,4%) de estudiantes tienen un alto conocimiento de los componentes y riesgos del consumo de las BE. Por lo que se llega a la conclusión que existe un predominio de consumo de las BE en los estudiantes, sabiendo los riesgos y consecuencias que tiene en su salud.
The objective of the research is to characterize the consumption of energy drinks in 4th and 5th year high school students of the José Carlos Mariátegui Educational Institution - Huancayo, 2023. The methodology used was a descriptive non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 240 students. The results obtained show that (97.1%) of the students consume BE, (48.5%) have an age of consumption of 16 years and (52.4%) of the students have a high knowledge of the components and risks of consumption of BE.
