Factores predisponentes a diabetes mellitus tipo 2 según método Findrisk en los usuarios del C.S San Jerónimo 2024.

Abstract

La investigación tiene como objetivo general identificar los factores predisponentes a diabetes mellitus tipo 2 en usuarios del C.S. de San Jerónimo 2024. La Metodología es de nivel descriptivo, con diseño no experimental, de corte transversal. La muestra incluyó 96 usuarios. La técnica fue la encuesta y como instrumento es el cuestionario de FINDRISK. Resultados: Usuarios tienen un estilo de vida sedentario. El 60.5% presenta obesidad y sobrepeso y el 39,6 % mantiene un peso saludable. Además, el 59,4 % no consume frutas ni verduras. En cuanto al perímetro abdominal más del 60% mujeres y varones superan el rango adecuado. Conclusiones: Los factores más prevalentes fueron: perímetro abdominal inadecuado, bajo consumo de vegetales, y escasa actividad física.

The overall objective of the research is to identify the predisposing factors for type 2 diabetes mellitus in users of the San Jerónimo 2024 Health Center. The methodology is descriptive, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample included 96 users. The technique used was a survey, and the instrument used was the FINDRISK questionnaire. Results: Users have a sedentary lifestyle. Sixty-point-five percent are obese or overweight, and 39.6% maintain a healthy weight. In addition, 59.4% do not consume fruits or vegetables. In terms of abdominal circumference, more than 60% of women and men exceed the appropriate range. Conclusions: The most prevalent factors were: inadequate abdominal circumference, low vegetable consumption, and low physical activity.
