Higiene oral y lesiones cariosas de primeras molares permanentes en escolares de la Institución Educativa N°38447/MX-P de Tutumbaru - Ayacucho, 2022.

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento de higiene oral y la caries dental de los primeros molares permanentes en los escolares de la Institución Educativa N°38447/Mx-P de Tutumbaru - Ayacucho, 2022. El tipo de investigación fue correlacional, descriptivo, transversal. Se seleccionaron 100 escolares. Los resultados reportan que el 24% presentan nivel de conocimiento alto sobre higiene oral; el 48% presentan nivel de conocimiento medio sobre higiene oral y el 28% presentan nivel de conocimiento bajo sobre higiene oral. En conclusión, existe relación entre el nivel de conocimiento de higiene oral y la caries dental de los primeros molares permanentes

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of oral hygiene and dental caries of the first permanent molars in school children of the Educational Institution N°38447/Mx-P of Tutumbaru - Ayacucho, 2022. The type of research was correlational, descriptive, cross-sectional. A total of 100 schoolchildren were selected. The results report that 24% have a high level of knowledge about oral hygiene; 48% have a medium level of knowledge about oral hygiene and 28% have a low level of knowledge about oral hygiene. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of oral hygiene and dental caries of the first permanent molars.
