Abstract
En la presente investigación se consideró como objetivo, identificar el nivel de conocimiento y actitud de estudiantes del I a VI ciclo de estomatología sobre la enfermedad periodontal y su afectación a la salud general a través de una encuesta on line, en la Universidad Privada de Huancayo Franklin Roosevelt 2021. Respecto al método es una investigación de tipo básica, de tipo transversal prospectiva y descriptiva. La muestra estuvo conformada por 249 estudiantes de los ciclos académicos del I al VI de la escuela profesional de Estomatología correspondientes al ciclo académico 2021-I, seleccionada mediante el muestreo no probabilístico intencional por conveniencia. Se concluyó que el 83,9% de estudiantes del I a VI ciclo de estomatología tienen un nivel “alto” nivel de conocimiento y actitud sobre la enfermedad periodontal y su afectación a la salud general
