Abstract
El objetivo fue determinar la relación entre el conocimiento sobre reacciones adversas a medicamentos (RAMs) y las buenas prácticas de farmacovigilancia en Químicos Farmacéuticos de Chorrillos. La metodología tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, nivel descriptivo-correlacional y diseño transversal. La muestra evaluó a 154 profesionales. Los resultados evidenciaron que el 55.8% presentó un nivel bajo de conocimiento y el 58.4% un nivel bajo en prácticas, comprobándose una relación positiva alta y significativa entre ambas variables (ρ=0.781; p=0.000). Se concluye que un mayor conocimiento optimiza las prácticas, mejorando la detección de RAMs y la seguridad del paciente.
The objective was to determine the relationship between knowledge of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and good pharmacovigilance practices among pharmacists in Chorrillos. The methodology employed a quantitative, applied, descriptive-correlational, and cross-sectional design. The sample included 154 professionals. The results showed that 55.8% demonstrated a low level of knowledge and 58.4% a low level of practice, confirming a strong and significant positive correlation between the two variables (ρ=0.781; p=0.000). It is concluded that greater knowledge optimizes practices, improving ADR detection and patient safety.
