Abstract
La presente investigación tiene por objetivo determinar la relación entre los hábitos alimentarios y rendimiento académico de estudiantes de la Universidad Franklin Roosevelt. Se empleó un estudio de tipo observacional, prospectivo, transversal, descriptivo, no experimental; la muestra lo constituyeron 79 estudiantes. Los resultados muestran que el 55,7% son del género masculino, el 48,1% tienen entre 18 a 22 años. El 54,4% de los estudiantes tienen hábitos alimentarios regulares y del 49,4% su rendimiento académico es regular. En conclusión, existe relación estadística entre los hábitos alimentarios y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes.
The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between eating habits and academic performance of students at Franklin Roosevelt University. An observational, prospective, cross-sectional, descriptive, non-experimental, descriptive study was used; the sample consisted of 79 students. The results show that 55.7% are male, 48.1% are between 18 and 22 years old. Of the students, 54.4% have regular eating habits and 49.4% have regular academic performance. In conclusion, there is a statistical relationship between eating habits and the academic performance of the students.
