Abstract
To determine the level of knowledge about interactions between medicinal plants and medications among users of a pharmacy in the Huancayo district, 2026. Our research had a quantitative approach, was basic and descriptive in nature, with a univariate, cross-sectional, and non-experimental descriptive design. The sample consisted of 150 users over 18 years of age from a pharmacy in the Huancayo district, selected through non-probability convenience sampling. General results: 70.7% presented a medium level of knowledge, 23.3% a low level, and 6.0% a high level. By dimension: Dimension D1 showed a high level of knowledge in 40.0% of the participants; dimension D2 showed the greatest deficiency, with a low level of knowledge in 44.7% of the participants; and dimension D3 reached a medium level of knowledge in 52.7%. Conclusion: A medium level of knowledge predominated, with a marked deficiency in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic mechanisms.
