Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación es determinar las características de la prescripción de antibacterianos en gestantes que acuden al Hospital Vitarte, Lima 2022. El Método de estudio es de tipo descriptivo, cuantitativo, retrospectivo, observacional. La población estuvo conformada por 100 historias clínicas de gestantes que acuden al Hospital Vitarte, Lima 2022; la muestra lo constituyeron 79 historias clínicas de gestantes. Los resultados indican que dentro de las características sociodemográficas se destaca que el 49,4% de las gestantes tienen entre 26 a 35 años y el 62,0% tienen instrucción secundaria. En conclusión, al 36,7% de las gestantes les prescribieron con mayor frecuencia el antibacteriano Cefalexina, seguido de Ceftriaxona en un 22,8%.
