Prevalencia de enfermedades geriátricas y su tratamiento farmacológico en el hospital IV Víctor lazarte Echegaray, Trujillo 2022

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene por objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de enfermedades geriátricas y su tratamiento farmacológico en el hospital IV Víctor Lazarte Echegaray, Trujillo 2022. Con una metodología. Estudio de tipo descriptivo, observacional. La población estuvo conformada por 100 adultos mayores que están en tratamiento farmacológico; la muestra la constituyeron 79 adultos mayores. La validación del instrumento fue por Juicio de Expertos. Resultados. Existe predominancia del género masculino con un 60,8% y además el 39,2% son mayores de 70 años, al grado de instrucción el 45,6% estudiaron secundaria, el estado civil el 57,0% son convivientes, el 54,4%. Respecto a la prevalencia de enfermedades geriátricas más frecuentes son cardiovasculares, metabólicas y respiratorias.

The objective of this research is to determine the prevalence of geriatric diseases and their pharmacological treatment in the IV Victor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital, Trujillo 2022. With a methodology. Descriptive, observational study. The population consisted of 100 older adults undergoing pharmacological treatment; the sample consisted of 79 older adults. The instrument was validated by expert judgment. Results. There is a predominance of the male gender with 60.8% and 39.2% are older than 70 years, 45.6% have a high school education, 57.0% are cohabitants and 54.4% have a marital status. Regarding the prevalence of geriatric diseases, the most frequent were cardiovascular, metabolic and respiratory diseases.
