Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la presencia de problemas relacionados a medicamentos (PRM) asociados a las metas terapéuticas en pacientes con Diabetes Mellitus Tipo II, realizados en la ciudad de Juliaca, durante el año 2024.El método fue cuantitativo, no experimental, observacional, retrospectivo, correlacional, la muestra fue conformada por 71 pacientes. Los resultados indican que el 85.7% tiene problemas potenciales en la medicación, lo cual requiere una pronta concientización para elevar el conocimiento sobre estos; puesto que solo el 14.3% tiene efectividad, lo cual viene a ser un porcentaje mínimo para lograr efectividad en los pacientes. En conclusión, el 58.3% tienen problemas reales de seguridad, solo el 25% indica que existe efectividad, a la vez el 16.7% que estos problemas son de necesidad.
The objective of the research was to determine the presence of medication-related problems (DRP) associated with therapeutic goals in patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus in the city of Juliaca during the year 2024; the method was quantitative, non-experimental, observational, retrospective, correlational, and the sample consisted of 71 patients. The results indicate that 85.7% have potential medication problems, which requires early awareness to raise awareness about them, since only 14.3% have effectiveness, which is a minimum percentage to achieve effectiveness in patients.
