Caries dental y estado nutricional en niños de 3 a 5 años del Centro de Salud San Anton Azangaro-2024.

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la relación entre índice de caries dental a través del ceo-d y el estado nutricional en niños de 3 a 5 años del centro de salud de San Antón- Azángaro 2024, el método el diseño es descriptivo, tipo transversal, correlacional y de enfoque cuantitativo, La muestra fue conformada por 105 niños. Los resultados muestran que el índice ceo-d de la muestra fue de 5.1, con un índice de grado muy alto en 21%, alto 18.1%, moderado en 27.6% bajo en 26.1% y muy bajo en 6.7; con una prevalencia de caries de 97.1%, el estado nutricional fue de 18.1 % para desnutrición crónica, normal o eutrófico de 72,2% y sobrepeso-obeso de 9.5%. En conclusión, existe correlación inversa significativa (Rho Sperman 0.0979 y p de .000) entre índice ceo-d y la desnutrición crónica en niños de 3 a 5 años.The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the dental caries index through the ceo-d and the nutritional status of children from 3 to 5 years of age in the health center of San Antón - Azángaro 2024, the method is descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational and quantitative approach. The results show that the ceo-d index of the sample was 5.1, with an index of very high grade in 21%, high in 18.1%, moderate in 27.6%, low in 26.1% and very low in 6.7; with a prevalence of caries of 97.1%, the nutritional status was 18.1% for chronic malnutrition, normal or eutrophic of 72.2% and overweight-obese of 9.5%.
