Abstract

La investigación es de tipo analítico, transversal, prospectiva con diseño experimental y grupos control, el efecto antibacteriano fue demostrado mediante la técnica de difusión en pozo y analizada mediante pruebas estadísticas con un nivel de confianza del 95%. El objetivo fue demostrar el efecto antibacteriano de los A. E de Melissa officinalis “toronjil” y Origanum vulgare “orégano” frente a E.Coli. El resultado para el aceite de Toronjil al 50% y 100% fue de 10,36 + 0,30mm y 12,05 + 0,31respectivamente; así mismo, el aceite de orégano al 50% y 100% fue de 11,68 +- 0,29mm y 15,28 +-0,36mm; el control negativo (DMS) 6,17 +-0,20mm y el control positivo (ciprofloxacino) 30,35 +-0,32mm. Se concluyó que ambos aceites presentan efecto antibacteriano sobre Escherichia coli
The research is analytical, cross-sectional, prospective with experimental design and control groups, the antibacterial effect was demonstrated by the well diffusion technique and analyzed by statistical tests with a confidence level of 95%. The objective was to demonstrate the antibacterial effect of A. E of Melissa officinalis "lemon balm" and Origanum vulgare "oregano" against E.Coli. The result for lemon balm oil at 50% and 100% was 10.36 + 0.30mm and 12.05 + 0.31 respectively; likewise, oregano oil at 50% and 100% was 11.68 +- 0.29mm and 15.28 +-0.36mm; the negative control (DMS) 6.17 +-0.20mm and the positive control (ciprofloxacin) 30.35 +-0.32mm.
