Abstract
El estudio se realizó con el objetivo de evaluar los factores asociados con la adherencia a la suplementación con hierro en gestantes. La metodología correspondió al enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental de corte transversal. La muestra fue de 131 gestantes, resultado de un muestreo no probabilístico. Los resultados indicaron en el factor sociodemográfico, el estado civil, en los factores relacionados con el paciente, la asistencia a las consultas programadas, de los factores asociados con el régimen suplementario los efectos adversos, acompañamiento al suplemento, alimentos que favorecen la absorción y en los factores asociados con el personal de salud, el nivel de información y la disponibilidad del suplemento, disponibilidad del suplemento en la farmacia del hospital son factores asociados con la adherencia.
The aim of the study was to evaluate the factors associated with adherence to iron supplementation in pregnant women. The methodology corresponded to a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 131 pregnant women, the result of a non-probabilistic sampling. The results indicated that in the sociodemographic factor, marital status, in the factors related to the patient, attendance to scheduled consultations, in the factors associated with the supplementary regimen, adverse effects, accompaniment to the supplement, foods that favor absorption, and in the factors associated with the health personnel, the level of information and availability of the supplement, availability of the supplement in the hospital pharmacy are factors associated with adherence.
