Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo determinar las características del consumo de corticoides en clientes de la Farmacia Señor de la Ascensión de Cachuy del Distrito de Imperial – Cañete 2023. La investigación adoptó el enfoque cuantitativo de diseño no experimental, transversal y descriptivo. la muestra fue de 173 usuarios, Los resultados demostraron que el 41% de los usuarios adquieren los medicamentos mediante una receta actualizada, y un 19.7% con fecha vencida, el medicamento más utilizado fue la dexametasona con un 60.3%, seguido de la prednisona con un 21.9%. A pesar de que la forma de adquisición fue mediante una prescripción médica se llegaron a presentar reacciones adversas en un 17.3% de usuarios. En conclusión, cerca de la mitad de usuarios adquieren corticoides mediante una receta actualizada siendo el de mayor consumo la dexametasona con un poco más del 50%.
The objective of this research was to determine the characteristics of corticoid consumption in clients of the Señor de la Ascensión de Cachuy Pharmacy in the District of Imperial - Cañete 2023. The research adopted the quantitative approach of non-experimental, cross-sectional and descriptive design. The sample consisted of 173 users. The results showed that 41% of the users acquire the drugs through an updated prescription, and 19.7% with expired date, the most used drug was dexamethasone with 60.3%, followed by prednisone with 21.9%. Despite the fact that the form of acquisition was through a medical prescription, adverse reactions occurred in 17.3% of users. In conclusion, about half of the users acquire corticosteroids through an updated prescription, with dexamethasone being the most widely used with a little more than 50%.
