Abstract
El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la efectividad de un programa educativo sobre lactancia materna exclusiva en madres del Centro de Salud de Huayucachi, Huancayo, durante el 2025. La investigación fue aplicada, de nivel explicativo y diseño preexperimental longitudinal sin grupo control. La muestra estuvo conformada por 38 madres primigestas de niños menores de 6 meses. En el pretest, el 50% presentó un nivel bajo de conocimiento y el otro 50% un nivel regular. Después de la intervención educativa, el 55,3% alcanzó un nivel alto de conocimiento y el 44,7% un nivel regular, sin registrarse niveles bajos. Se concluyó que el programa educativo fue efectivo para mejorar significativamente el conocimiento sobre lactancia materna exclusiva.
The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of an educational program on exclusive breastfeeding for mothers at the Huayucachi Health Center in Huancayo, Peru, during 2025. The research was applied, explanatory, and employed a longitudinal pre-experimental design without a control group. The sample consisted of 38 first-time mothers of infants under 6 months of age. In the pretest, 50% of the mothers demonstrated a low level of knowledge, while the other 50% showed a moderate level. After the educational intervention, 55.3% achieved a high level of knowledge, and 44.7% a moderate level, with no low levels recorded. The study concluded that the educational program was effective in significantly improving knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding.
