Abstract
La investigación fue determinar la relación que existe entre los pacientes con sobrepeso u obesidad con diabetes tipo II con tratamiento farmacológico del Hospital de Supe, julio – diciembre 2020.Método: descriptivo, transversal, se revisaron 50 Historias Clínicas. Resultados: Se determinó el índice de masa corporal,25 (52%) pacientes tienen sobrepeso y 16(30%) tienen obesidad. El tratamiento fue 34(68%) con metformina y 16(32%) con glibenclamida. Se concluyo que el sobrepeso u obesidad aumenta las complicaciones de riesgo de los pacientes en un 52% con neuropatía y pie diabético siendo estas las de mayor complejidad, demostrando la ineficacia de los tratamientos farmacológicos

Results: Body mass index was determined,25(52%) patients are overweight and 16(30%) are obese. Treatment was 34 (68%) with metformin and 16 (32%) with glibenclamide. It was concluded that overweight or obesity increases the risk complications in 52% of patients with neuropathy and diabetic foot, these being the most complex, demonstrating the ineffectiveness of pharmacological treatments
