Abstract
El objetivo de la siguiente investigación es determinar los factores asociados a la infección por Dengue en personas adultas de la localidad de Río Negro – Satipo, 2023. El método fue básico, diseño no experimental, correlacional – causal; la ficha de recolección de datos fue la encuesta y el instrumento el cuestionario, la muestra estuvo constituida por 374 adultos. Los resultados indicaron que la no utilización de mallas o mosquiteros en sus puertas, ventanas o cuartos (OR=3,187; p-valor=0,000), acumular residuos sólidos alrededor de su vivienda como botellas, llantas viejas, cajas desocupadas, latas de atún, tapa de botellas, ollas viejas, etc. (OR=4,598; p-valor=0,000). En conclusión, los factores asociados a la infección por Dengue fueron de tipo preventivo y ambiental en las personas adultas de la localidad de Río Negro.

The results indicated that not using screens or mosquito nets on their doors, windows or rooms (OR=3.187; p-value=0.000), accumulating solid waste around their homes such as bottles, old tires, unoccupied boxes, tuna cans, bottle caps, old pots, etc. (OR=4.598; p-value=0.000). In conclusion, the factors associated with Dengue infection were preventive and environmental in adults in the town of Río Negro.
