Lesiones orales y nivel cognitivo sobre higiene oral en pacientes con prótesis removible del Centro de Salud Talavera, Apurímac 2023.

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre la presencia de lesiones orales y el nivel cognitivo sobre higiene oral en pacientes portadores de prótesis dental removibles en el Centro Salud Talavera Apurímac 2023, con metodología de tipo correlacional, nivel descriptivo no experimental de corte transversal con una población de 120 pacientes, con técnica observacional y encuesta, con resultados que el 73,33% presenta lesiones orales, mientras que para la variable nivel cognitivo sobre higiene oral, prevalece el nivel regular con el 69,17% del total de encuestado. concluyendo que, si existe relación significativa moderada entre la variable, presencia de lesiones orales y nivel cognitivo sobre higiene oral en pacientes portadores de prótesis dental removibles.The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the presence of oral lesions and the cognitive level on oral hygiene in patients with removable dental prostheses in the Talavera Apurímac 2023 Health Center, with a correlational methodology, descriptive non-experimental cross-sectional level with a population of 120 patients, with observational technique and survey, with results that 73.33% present oral lesions, while for the variable cognitive level on oral hygiene, the regular level prevails with 69.17% of the total of those surveyed. The study concluded that there is a significant moderate relationship between the variable presence of oral lesions and the cognitive level of oral hygiene in patients with removable dental prostheses.
