Conocimiento, actitud y práctica sobre salud bucal en madres de menores de 3 años de un hospital de Ayacucho - 2023.

Abstract

La investigación tiene por objetivo determinar la relación entre nivel de conocimiento, práctica y el tipo de actitud sobre salud bucal en madres de menores de 3 años, atendidos en el Hospital Jesús Nazareno, Ayacucho 2023. La metodología fue de tipo básica, descriptiva, relacional y transversal; la muestra estuvo conformada por 102 madres que cumplieron criterios de selección y la técnica para la recolección de datos fue mediante la encuesta. Se obtuvo como resultados, que las madres tienen un nivel de conocimiento de 52,0% regular, actitud con 93,1% adecuada y práctica de 60,8% buena. En conclusión, existe una relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal, el nivel de práctica y el tipo de actitud en madres de menores de 3 años.The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge, practice and type of attitude about oral health in mothers of children under 3 years of age, attended at the Hospital Jesús Nazareno, Ayacucho 2023. The methodology was basic, descriptive, relational and cross-sectional; the sample consisted of 102 mothers who met the selection criteria and the data collection technique was by means of a survey. The results showed that the mothers have a level of knowledge of 52.0% regular, an attitude of 93.1% adequate and a practice of 60.8% good. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the level of knowledge about oral health, the level of practice and the type of attitude in mothers of children under 3 years of age.
