Abstract
Este estudio determinó los factores predominantes de la automedicación en usuarios de la botica "JCA TU FARMA" en Tarma, 2025. La metodología fue cuantitativa, básica, descriptiva, no experimental y transversal, encuestando físicamente a 120 usuarios entre junio y julio. Los resultados muestran que la práctica predomina en el género femenino (62.5%), en personas de 31 a 45 años (39.2%) y del ámbito urbano (64.2%). Respecto a la educación, el 43.3% alcanzó la secundaria, mientras que un 49.2% admitió que el internet influye en su decisión de automedicarse. Económicamente, el 44% reporta ingresos de S/. 941.00 a S/. 1500.00 y un 43% gana menos de S/. 940.00 mensuales. En conclusión, se determinó que los factores sociales y económicos son los que más influyen en la automedicación de esta población.
This study identified the predominant factors associated with self-medication among customers of the "JCA TU FARMA" pharmacy in Tarma in 2025. A quantitative, basic, descriptive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional methodology was employed, involving in-person surveys of 120 customers between June and July. The results indicate that the practice is most prevalent among women (62.5%), individuals aged 31 to 45 (39.2%), and urban residents (64.2%). Regarding education, 43.3% had completed secondary school, while 49.2% acknowledged that the internet influences their decision to self-medicate. Economically, 44% reported monthly incomes between S/. 941.00 and S/. 1,500.00, and 43% earned less than S/. 940.00 per month. In conclusion, social and economic factors were determined to be the primary influences on self-medication within this population.
