Hábitos bucales nocivos y maloclusión dentaria en estudiantes de una Institución Educativa, Ayacucho 2023.

Abstract

El objetivo de la siguiente investigación es determinar la relación entre los hábitos bucales nocivos y la maloclusión dentaria en estudiantes de una institución educativa Ayacucho 2023. Como método se utilizó el diseño descriptivo correlacional de enfoque cuantitativo no experimental. En esta investigación se empleó la técnica de la encuesta y la observación. Del 100% el 40.3% no presentaron hábitos bucales nocivos y no presentaron ningún tipo de hábito bucal nocivo, seguido de 9,0% estudiantes presentaron el hábito de respirador bucal con mordida abierta anterior, luego 9,0% estudiantes presentaron más de 2 hábitos con mordida bis a bis. En conclusión, se determina que existe una relación entre los hábitos nocivos y las maloclusiones.

The objective of the following research is to determine the relationship between harmful oral habits and dental malocclusion in students of an educational institution Ayacucho 2023. A descriptive correlational design with a non-experimental quantitative approach was used as a method. The survey technique and observation were used in this research. Of the 100%, 40.3% did not present harmful oral habits and did not present any type of harmful oral habit, followed by 9.0% students presented the habit of mouth breather with anterior open bite, then 9.0% students presented more than 2 habits with bis-to-bis bite. In conclusion, it is determined that there is a relationship between harmful habits and malocclusions.
