Abstract
The objective of this research was to determine the level of adherence to iron and folic acid supplementation among pregnant women at the Aclas Huancán Health Center in 2026. A basic, descriptive, quantitative, non-experimental, and cross-sectional study was conducted, involving a population and sample of 90 pregnant women selected via a census sampling method. The results showed a predominance of moderate adherence (56.7%), followed by high adherence (42.2%) and low adherence (1.1%). Moderate adherence was most notable among pregnant women over 30 years of age (25.6%), those with a secondary education (22.2%), and those in their third trimester (26.7%). It was concluded that the level of adherence was predominantly moderate, with difficulties observed primarily regarding the scheduling of supplement intake.
