Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación es determinar los factores de riesgo y la no-adherencia al tratamiento de la hipertensión arterial en adultos que acuden a las cadenas de farmacia. El método fue descriptivo, no experimental y de corte transversal, la muestra fue de 167 adultos. Resulta que la edad de 37 -54 años y el sexo es el femenino es el q prevalece, los otros factores son la obesidad, los estilos de alimentación saludable, falta de actividad física. La no-adherencia al tratamiento está relacionado con los factores concomitantes, donde se evidencia la capacidad de autocontrol e incapacidad para afrontar su diagnóstico en un 77.1 %, cumplimiento al tratamiento y la pluripatología. En conclusión, los factores son la obesidad, hipercolesterolemia, diabetes mellitus, tabaquismo y sedentarismo, existe una no adherencia al tratamiento de la hipertensión arterial.

The method was descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional, the sample was 167 adults. Non-adherence to treatment is related to concomitant factors, where the ability to self-manage and inability to cope with their diagnosis in 77.1%, compliance to treatment and pluripathology are evidenced.
