Abstract
El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores de riesgo asociados al abandono de la lactancia materna exclusiva en madres del Puesto de Salud Santiago de Tucuma, Tayacaja, 2025. Método: fue tipo básica, con diseño no experimental y enfoque causal explicativo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 45 madres, seleccionadas mediante muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia, se utilizó la encuesta como técnica y un cuestionario como instrumento. Los datos se procesaron con el software SPSS. Los resultados mostraron que el 60% de las madres abandonaron la lactancia materna exclusiva. Se concluye que no existen factores de riesgo asociados al abandono de la lactancia materna exclusiva en la población estudiada.
The study aimed to determine the risk factors associated with the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding in mothers at the Santiago de Tucuma Health Center, Tayacaja, 2025.
