Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores asociados a la parasitosis intestinal en recolectores del Municipio de Ferreñafe, Lambayeque 2023. El método fue descriptivo, de corte analítico, transversal, observacional y no experimental, la muestra fue conformada por 73 recolectores. Los resultados indican que el 68,5% son del género masculino, el 37,0% tienen entre 26 a 40 años; el 57,5% presentó Blastocystis sp, el 26,0% ingiere sus alimentos sin lavarse las manos por olvido, el 17,8% ingieren sus alimentos fuera de casa, el 15,1% ingieren agua no hervida, el 6,8% refieren que después de realizar sus necesidades olvidan lavarse las manos, el 6,8% crían animales en casa, y el 1,4% no cuentan con letrina en el hogar. En conclusión, se determinó la prevalencia de parasitosis donde el 90,4% de encuestados presentan parasitosis intestinal.
The objective of the research was to determine the factors associated with intestinal parasitosis in collectors of the Municipality of Ferreñafe, Lambayeque 2023. The method was descriptive, analytical, cross-sectional, observational and non-experimental; the sample consisted of 73 collectors. The results indicate that 68.5% are male, 37.0% are between 26 and 40 years old; 57.5% had Blastocystis sp, 26.0% ingested their food without washing their hands because they forgot to do so, 17.8% ingested their food outside the home, 15.1% ingested unboiled water, 6.8% reported that they forgot to wash their hands after relieving themselves, 6.8% raised animals at home, and 1.4% did not have a latrine at home. In conclusion, the prevalence of parasitosis was determined, with 90.4% of those surveyed having intestinal parasitosis.
