Abstract
The purpose of the research was to establish the correlation between stress and anxiety levels in students at the José Carlos Mariátegui educational institution in Huancalpi-Huancavelica 2025. A basic, correlational study was conducted using a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 85 participants. The results showed that low stress levels predominated with 50.6%, while 20.0% had high stress levels. with regard to anxiety levels, 41.2% showed mild anxiety and 22.3% showed severe anxiety. When both variables were related using Spearman's non-parametric correlation test, a coefficient of rho=0.370 and a value of p=0.00 were obtained, thus accepting the alternative hypothesis. In conclusion, it was determined that there is a moderate positive relationship between stress and anxiety levels in adolescents.
