Abstract
El estudio analizó la relación entre factores psicosociales y depresión en estudiantes de quinto de secundaria. Se realizó en la Institución Educativa San Miguel de Pincha, Chupaca, en 2024. La investigación fue básica, con enfoque cuantitativo y diseño correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 42 estudiantes. Se aplicaron el Cuestionario de Factores Psicosociales y la Escala EADA. Los resultados mostraron una correlación positiva y significativa (r = 0.714; p = 0.000). Esto indica que mayores factores psicosociales adversos se asocian con mayor depresión. El 78.6% presentó depresión moderada. El 16.7% evidenció depresión grave. Se concluye que es necesario fortalecer la atención emocional y el apoyo psicológico escolar.
The study analyzed the relationship between psychosocial factors and depression in fifth-year secondary school students. It was conducted at the San Miguel de Pincha Educational Institution in Chupaca in 2024. The research was basic, with a quantitative approach and correlational design.
