Actividad antibacteriana in vitro del extracto hidroalcohólico de las hojas de Cybistax antisyphilitica (Mart.) Mart “llangua” frente a Escherichia coli

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la actividad antibacteriana del extracto hidroalcohólico de las hojas de Cybistax antisyphilitica (Mart.) Mart “llangua” frente a Escherichia coli. La muestra vegetal fue recolectada del Centro Poblado Sargento Lores, distrito y provincia de Jaén, departamento de Cajamarca, lo cual fue validado con un certificado de identificación taxonómica emitido por un botánico experto. El extracto hidroalcohólico se obtuvo por maceración del material vegetal seco, además; se realizó el reconocimiento de metabolitos secundarios a través del tamizaje fitoquímico. La actividad antibacteriana del extracto hidroalcohólico se evaluó por el método de difusión en agar a las concentraciones del 25 %, 50 %, 75 % y 100 % frente a Escherichia coli. Como resultado se obtuvo que el extracto hidroalcohólico de las hojas llengua presentó buena solubilidad únicamente en solventes de naturaleza polar, mediante el tamizaje fitoquímico.The objective of the research was to determine the antibacterial activity of the hydroalcoholic extract of the leaves of Cybistax antisyphilitica (Mart.) Mart "llangua" against Escherichia coli. The plant sample was collected from the Centro Poblado Sargento Lores, district and province of Jaén, department of Cajamarca, which was validated with a taxonomic identification certificate issued by an expert botanist. The hydroalcoholic extract was obtained by maceration of the dried plant material, in addition; the recognition of secondary metabolites was performed through phytochemical screening. The antibacterial activity of the hydroalcoholic extract was evaluated by the agar diffusion method at concentrations of 25 %, 50 %, 75 % and 100 % against Escherichia coli. As a result, the hydroalcoholic extract of the llengua leaves showed good solubility only in solvents of polar nature, by phytochemical screening.
