Abstract
The objective of this research was to determine the levels of lead, cadmium and arsenic in filter bags of Matricaria chamomilla L. "manzanilla" sold in the district of Comas, during the period December 2021. The methodology used was a non-experimental, cross-sectional and prospective design; the sample was represented by 20 filter bags of Matricaria chamomilla L. "manzanilla" sold in the district of Comas, during the month of December 2021. The technique used to quantify the heavy metals used in this research was atomic absorption, which was carried out at the Labicer laboratory of the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI). The results show low levels of heavy metal exposure in the chamomile filter bags
