Abstract
El estudio buscó determinar la influencia de una intervención educativa sobre el conocimiento de infecciones de transmisión sexual en estudiantes de la I.E. “Chinchaysuyo” de Huancayo en 2025. La investigación fue aplicada, con diseño preexperimental de pre y post test. La muestra estuvo conformada por 85 estudiantes de una población de 536, en el pretest, sólo el 20.9% conocía sobre infecciones de transmisión sexual y el 79.1% las desconocía. Después de la intervención educativa, el 96.5% de los estudiantes demostró tener conocimientos y solo el 3.5% aún desconocía el tema. Estos resultados muestran una mejora significativa en el aprendizaje. Se concluyó que la intervención educativa influyó de manera directa y significativa (p = 0.001).
The study sought to determine the influence of an educational intervention on knowledge regarding sexually transmitted infections among students at the “Chinchaysuyo” Educational Institution in Huancayo in 2025. The research was applied in nature, employing a pre-experimental pre-test/post-test design. The sample consisted of 85 students drawn from a population of 536; during the pre-test, only 20.9% demonstrated knowledge of sexually transmitted infections, while 79.1% lacked such knowledge. Following the educational intervention, 96.5% of the students demonstrated knowledge of the subject, and only 3.5% remained uninformed. These results indicate a significant improvement in learning. It was concluded that the educational intervention exerted a direct and significant influence (p = 0.001).
