Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar las alteraciones dentofaciales y la respuesta psicoemocional de los estudiantes de 12 a 14 años en el colegio Manco Inca Vilcabamba Cusco 2019. Materiales y Métodos: Se realizo un estudio descriptivo, cuantitativo, transversal, aplicada, no experimental, correlacional y observacional. La muestra estuvo constituida por 31 estudiantes, se examinó las maloclusiones según la Clasificación de Anderson – Dewey y se tomó un cuestionario psicoemocional. Resultados: El impacto psicoemocional de las maloclusiones es significativo con una p = 0.008, un 80.65% de la muestra presento maloclusiones leves. Se concluye que el impacto psicoemocional en cada uno de sus dominios tiende a incrementarse según la maloclusión se agrava
The aim of this research was to determine the dentofacial alterations and the psychoemotional response of students from 12 to 14 years old in the Manco Inca Vilcabamba Cusco school 2019. Materials and Methods: A descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional, applied, non-experimental, correlational and observational study was carried out. The sample consisted of 31 students, malocclusions were examined according to the Anderson-Dewey classification and a psychoemotional questionnaire was taken. Results: The psychoemotional impact of malocclusions is significant with a p = 0.008, 80.65% of the sample presented mild malocclusions. It is concluded that the psychoemotional impact in each of its domains tends to increase as the malocclusion worsens.
