Abstract
La presente investigación tiene por objetivo identificar Factores predisponentes en la práctica de automedicación en los usuarios de la botica Jel en Medio Mundo – Vegueta 2023. El método de estudio fue de tipo aplicado, prospectiva, observacional, transversal no experimental, la muestra lo constituyeron 79 usuarios. Los resultados indican que el 44,3% tienen entre 18 a 25 años, el 51,9% son del sexo femenino el 49,4% estudiaron secundaria, el 44,3% son amas de casa, el 54,4% son influenciados por internet al momento de automedicarse, el 49,4% acuden al farmacéutico al momento de buscar atención y el medicamento más usado en la automedicación son los antigripales. En conclusión, el sexo, la edad, grado académico, fácil acceso a la información son factores para automedicarse.
The objective of this research is to identify predisposing factors in the practice of self-medication in the users of the Jel drugstore in Medio Mundo - Vegueta 2023. The study method was applied, prospective, observational, transversal, non-experimental, and the sample consisted of 79 users. The results indicate that 44.3% are between 18 and 25 years old, 51.9% are female, 49.4% studied high school, 44.3% are housewives, 54.4% are influenced by the Internet when self-medicating, 49.4% go to the pharmacist when seeking care and the most used medicine in self-medication are anti-flu drugs. In conclusion, sex, age, academic degree, easy access to information are factors for self-medication.
