Nivel de conocimiento sobre hipertensión y adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes hipertensos del hospital base III Essalud - Juliaca 2025

Abstract

El objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre hipertensión y adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes atendidos en el Hospital Base III EsSalud Juliaca, 2025. Metodología: Es una investigación descriptiva, correlacional y transversal de diseño no experimental, conformada por pacientes. Donde se empleó una técnica de encuesta y el instrumento utilizado fue el cuestionario. Resultados: De los 150 pacientes hipertensos el 52% tiene un nivel de conocimiento medio y solo el 1,3% tiene un nivel bajo de conocimientos sobre su hipertensión, en el cual lo que predomino fue el sexo femenino con un 61,3%, por otro lado, el 72.2% no era adherente con su tratamiento y solo el 27,2% si cumplían correctamente con su tratamiento. Conclusión: Si existe relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la adherencia al tratamiento.

Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about hypertension and adherence to treatment in patients treated at the EsSalud Juliaca Base Hospital III, 2025. Methodology: This is a descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional, non-experimental study involving patients. A survey technique was used, and the instrument used was a questionnaire. Results: Of the 150 hypertensive patients, 52% had an average level of knowledge and only 1.3% had a low level of knowledge about their hypertension, with females predominating at 61.3%. On the other hand, 72.2% were not adhering to their treatment and only 27.2% were complying correctly with their treatment. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the level of knowledge and adherence to treatment.
