Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación fue evaluar la relación entre el conocimiento del medicamento y la automedicación en pacientes que acuden a la Botica de una clínica particular, Huancayo 2023. El método fue de diseño descriptivo, no experimental y de corte transversal, la muestra estuvo conformada por 175 pacientes. Los resultados muestran que los rangos de edades en un 57.4% es de 35–49 años, el 64.5% a veces se automedica, 53.2% conoce su medicamento, el 62.4% a veces compra medicamentos sin receta médica por la falta de dinero. Se concluyó que existe asociación estadísticamente significativa entre el nivel de conocimientos del medicamento y la automedicación en pacientes que acuden a la Botica de una clínica particular.
The objective of the research was to evaluate the relationship between drug knowledge and self-medication in patients attending the pharmacy of a private clinic, Huancayo 2023. The method was descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional design, the sample consisted of 175 patients. The results show that the age range of 57.4% is 35-49 years, 64.5% sometimes self-medicate, 53.2% know their medication, 62.4% sometimes buy medication without a prescription due to lack of money. It was concluded that there is a statistically significant association between the level of knowledge of the medication and self-medication in patients who go to the pharmacy of a private clinic.
