Proximidad del tercer molar inferior en relación con el conducto dentario inferior en pacientes de un centro radiológico de Huancayo 2025

Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la proximidad del tercer molar inferior al conducto dentario inferior en pacientes del Centro Radiológico Neox Huancayo en 2025. La investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, descriptivo, prospectivo y transversal. Tuvo una muestra de 132 radiografías digitales. La concordancia entre observadores fue buena (Kappa de Cohen = 0,739). Los datos se recopilaron mediante una ficha y se procesaron en SPSS 25. Según la clasificación de Ezoddini, predominó el contacto sin cambios estructurales (34.1%). En jóvenes de 18 a 24 años predominó la ausencia de contacto (27.7%). El sexo masculino presentó mayor frecuencia de contacto sin cambios estructurales (38.2%).

The study aimed to determine the proximity of the mandibular third molar to the inferior alveolar canal in patients at the Neox Huancayo Radiological Center in 2025. The research employed a quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, prospective, and cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 132 digital radiographs. Inter-observer agreement was good (Cohen's Kappa = 0.739). Data were collected using a standardized form and processed using SPSS 25. According to the Ezoddini classification, contact without structural changes was the predominant finding (34.1%). Among young adults aged 18 to 24, the absence of contact was predominant (27.7%). The male sex exhibited a higher frequency of contact without structural changes (38.2%).
