Abstract
El trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre la automedicación farmacológica y no farmacológica en el manejo de la odontalgia en adultos jóvenes que acuden a la Clínica Dental Virgen de Guadalupe Ayacucho – 2020. Es de tipo básica, correlacional y corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 33 pacientes. En los resultados se encontró, que el 63.6 % tienen automedicación farmacológica y el 36.4 % presentan automedicación no farmacológica, y de acuerdo al dolor dental de tipo agudo presentan un 45.5% y dolor crónico un 54.5 %. Según odontalgia de tipo agudo el 27.8% se automedica con antibióticos y el 55.6% con medicina tradicional y del total de adultos jóvenes con odontalgia crónico el 60% usa analgésicos. La relación entre la automedicación farmacológica y no farmacológica en el manejo de la odontalgia agudo el 55.6% tienen automedicación no farmacológica, mientras que del total de pacientes jóvenes con odontalgia crónico el 86.7% tiene automedicación farmacológica
The objective of the research work is to determine the relationship between pharmacological and non-pharmacological self-medication in the management of odontalgia in young adults who attend the Dental Clinic Virgen de Guadalupe Ayacucho - 2020. It is a basic, correlational and cross-sectional study. The sample was made up of 33 patients. In the results it was found that 63.6 % have pharmacological self-medication and 36.4 % have non-pharmacological self-medication, and according to dental pain of the acute type there is 45.5 % and chronic pain 54.5 %. According to acute odontalgia 27.8% self-medicate with antibiotics and 55.6% with traditional medicine and of the total of young adults with chronic odontalgia 60% use analgesics.
