Abstract
El objetivo fue comparar la frecuencia de malformaciones dentarias de número y tamaño según el maxilar en ortopantomografías de pacientes de un centro radiológico de Ayacucho 2024. El método que se usó fue básico, nivel descriptivo, método observacional, no experimental, prospectivo y transversal, la muestra estuvo conformada por 300 ortopantomografías. Los resultados encontraron que la mandíbula tiene mayor frecuencia en malformaciones dentarias de número y tamaño con un 7%, se observó que las malformaciones dentarias de número fueron de 2.3% y las de tamaño fueron las más frecuentes con un 4.7%, en cuanto al sexo no hubo diferencias estadísticamente significativas, concluyendo que las malformaciones dentarias de tamaño fueron más frecuentes.
The objective was to compare the frequency of dental malformations in number and size according to the maxilla in orthopantomographies of patients from a radiology center in Ayacucho 2024. The method used was basic, descriptive, observational, non-experimental, prospective and transversal, the sample consisted of 300 orthopantomographies.
