Intervención educativa y nivel de conocimiento sobre el uso racional de antibióticos en madres del Centro de Salud de Pichanaqui, 2023

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar la influencia de una intervención educativa sobre el nivel de conocimiento en el uso racional de antibióticos en madres del Centro de Salud de Pichanaqui, 2023. La metodología correspondió a un estudio cuantitativo, aplicado, con diseño preexperimental y corte longitudinal. La muestra fue de 79 madres de familia. Se obtuvo como resultado que antes de la intervención educativa, el 68,4% presentó un nivel de conocimiento bajo sobre el uso racional de antibióticos. Después de la intervención, el 53,2 % alcanzó un nivel de conocimiento bueno, evidenciándose una influencia positiva. Conclusión. La intervención educativa fue efectiva, logrando mejorar el nivel de conocimiento de las madres sobre el uso racional de antibióticos.

The research aimed to evaluate the influence of an educational intervention on the level of knowledge regarding the rational use of antibiotics among mothers at the Pichanaqui Health Center in 2023. The methodology was a quantitative, applied study with a pre-experimental, longitudinal design. The sample consisted of 79 mothers. The results showed that before the educational intervention, 68.4% of the mothers demonstrated a low level of knowledge about the rational use of antibiotics. After the intervention, 53.2% achieved a good level of knowledge, demonstrating a positive influence. Conclusion: The educational intervention was effective, improving the mothers' level of knowledge about the rational use of antibiotics.
