Abstract
La investigación buscó determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con tuberculosis pulmonar en Sapallanga, Junín. Se desarrolló un estudio básico, no experimental, correlacional y de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 15 pacientes seleccionados mediante muestreo censal. Se utilizó la encuesta como técnica y un cuestionario estructurado como instrumento. El 66,7% de los pacientes presentó un nivel de conocimiento medio sobre la enfermedad. Asimismo, el 66,7% evidenció una adherencia positiva al tratamiento. El análisis mostró una correlación positiva moderada y significativa entre conocimiento y adherencia (Rho=0,569; p<0,05).
The study sought to determine the relationship between knowledge levels and treatment adherence among patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Sapallanga, Junín. A basic, non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional study was conducted. The sample consisted of 15 patients selected through census sampling. A survey was used as the method, and a structured questionnaire served as the instrument. 66.7% of the patients had a moderate level of knowledge about the disease. Likewise, 66.7% demonstrated positive treatment adherence. The analysis showed a moderate and significant positive correlation between knowledge and adherence (Rho=0.569; p<0.05).
