Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre los hábitos alimentarios y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes del sexto grado de la Institución Educativa Integrada Bilingüe Alipio Ponce Vásquez, Mazamari, 2025. La metodología correspondió a un estudio de tipo básico, con diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y nivel correlacional. La población y muestra censal estuvieron conformadas por 30 estudiantes. La técnica utilizada fue la encuesta y se aplicó un cuestionario validado y confiable; además, se empleó una ficha de recolección de datos para evaluar el rendimiento académico. Los resultados mostraron que el 56,7 % presentó hábitos alimentarios poco saludables y el 76,7 % alcanzó el nivel de logro alcanzado. La prueba exacta de Fisher evidenció un valor de p = 0,349 (p > 0,05), indicando que no existe relación estadísticamente significativa entre ambas variables. Se concluyó que no existe relación entre los hábitos alimentarios y el rendimiento académico en los estudiantes evaluados.
This research aimed to determine the relationship between eating habits and academic performance in sixth-grade students at the Alipio Ponce Vásquez Bilingual Integrated Educational Institution in Mazamari, 2025. The methodology was a basic, non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational study. The population and census sample consisted of 30 students. A validated and reliable questionnaire was used as the data collection technique, and a data collection form was used to assess academic performance. Fisher's exact test yielded a p-value of 0.349 (p > 0.05), indicating no statistically significant relationship between the two variables.
