Abstract
La investigación tiene por objetivo determinar los factores asociados a la automedicación con antiparasitarios en niños del Centro de Salud Puente Chao, Distrito Chao-La Libertad 2023. El estudio adopta el método científico, enfoque cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo, diseño no experimental-transversal. La técnica de estudio fue la encuesta y el instrumento el cuestionario, la muestra estuvo conformada por todos los pacientes que acuden al centro de salud. Resultados los casos de automedicación prevalece en las mujeres con edades entre los 9 a 11 años, con problemas de apetito, automedicados principalmente con Albendazol, con una frecuencia de consumo de 1 vez al mes, por recomendación del farmacéutico; Conclusión los factores que se asocian a la automedicación con antiparasitarios en niños son los factores sociales y económicos.
The objective of the research is to determine the factors associated with self-medication with antiparasitic drugs in children of the Puente Chao Health Center, District Chao-La Libertad 2023. The study adopts the scientific method, quantitative approach, descriptive level, non-experimental-transversal design. The study technique was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire; the sample consisted of all patients attending the health center. Results The cases of self-medication prevailed in females aged 9 to 11 years, with appetite problems, self-medicated mainly with Albendazole, with a frequency of consumption of once a month, on the recommendation of the pharmacist; Conclusion The factors associated with self-medication with antiparasitic drugs in children are social and economic factors.
