Resumen
La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la automedicación con sildenafilo y los factores de riesgo en adultos que acudieron a la Botica FarmaRed. Se presentó un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, nivel correlacional con diseño observacional, no experimental, de corte transversal. La muestra fue de 113 adultos. Los resultados mostraron que el 89,3 % presentó un nivel bajo de automedicación y el 89,4 % un nivel bajo de conocimiento. Se encontró una relación estadísticamente significativa entre la automedicación y los factores de riesgo (p < 0,05). Conclusión, existe una relación significativa entre la automedicación con sildenafilo y los factores de riesgo en los adultos estudiados, destacándose la importancia de fortalecer la educación sanitaria y el uso responsable del medicamento.
The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between self-medication with sildenafil and risk factors in adults who visited the FarmaRed pharmacy. A quantitative, basic, correlational study with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, observational design was used. The sample consisted of 113 adults. The results showed that 89.3% presented a low level of self-medication and 89.4% a low level of knowledge. A statistically significant relationship was found between self-medication and risk factors (p < 0.05). In conclusion, a significant relationship exists between self-medication with sildenafil and risk factors in the adults studied, highlighting the importance of strengthening health education and promoting the responsible use of the medication.
