Conocimiento y higiene bucal en internos de Estomatología en la Universidad Privada de Huancayo Franklin Roosevelt - Huancayo. 2019

Abstract

Este estudio fue Evaluar el nivel de conocimiento y higiene bucal de los internos de estomatología de la Universidad Privada de Huancayo Franklin Roosevelt, siendo la metodología, descriptivo, observacional, prospectivo y de corte transversal, en una muestra 60 alumnos internos, se realizó un índice de higiene oral y una encuesta de conocimiento en higiene bucal. Resultados, que del total de internos el 66,7% presentan IHO Alto; el 22,2% presentan IHO regular y el 11,1% tiene IHO bajo; concluyéndose, que los internos con mayor índice de higiene bucal oscilan en las edades de 28 a 31 años, en el género femenino, conocen como elemento de higiene bucal el enjuague, cepillo y la pasta dental, consideran que es importante la higiene bucalThis study was to evaluate the level of knowledge and oral hygiene of stomatology interns of the Universidad Privada de Huancayo Franklin Roosevelt, being the methodology, descriptive, observational, prospective and cross-sectional, in a sample of 60 intern students, an oral hygiene index and a survey of knowledge in oral hygiene were carried out.
